Site Plan
This webpage is the blueprint of my website.
Purpose
- To keep a history of my life; a form of journal keeping to let people both now and in the future know about my life, including:
- pictures
- stories
- To help loved ones keep up with what is going on in my life.
Why would people come to my website?
They would come to my website because they know me a little bit already (most of them will be family members, but some might be friends as well), and would like to get to know me better, or want to keep up with what is going on in my life currently.
Audience
- Family: the people who will view my website will mostly be members of my family. The family on my dad's side are white, while those on my mom's side are Chinese. My husband's family is Chinese, though they speak a different dialect than my family. I have family members in Taiwan, Washington State, Arizona, California, Texas, Philadelphia, and Utah.
- Friends: some of my friends may view my website as well, though most of them will most likely be more interested in my current life, leading them to use other sources like Facebook.

Why the website?
People coming to my website will likely not find the information elsewhere. Some other places they might find the information given on my website is on Facebook or in my journals, but these resources are not available to all of them. They will have to come to my website to get the complete information all in one place.

Likes about these sites: they are informative, and that they give me what I am looking for. I go to these three sites for very specific and different reasons. It is easiest for me to find what I want on these websites, even though some of the information might be available elsewhere.
Dislikes about these sites: sometimes the navigation on the website are a bit hard to use. At times, you have to know quite a bit about them to be able to find what you need, or you'll have to use the search engine, which isn't always so helpful.

- Home: takes the user back to the home page.
- Birth: this link will take the users to a page about my birth, including information about my parents and siblings
- Early Childhood: this link will tell them about my childhood, up to age 8.
- Moving to America: this will tell them about how my family moved to America when I was 8 and will continue talking about my life until age 13.
- Teenage Years: this link will take users to a page about my life as a teenager.
- College: this webpage will talk about my decision to go to college and to come to BYU-I, up to the point when I met my husband.
